Dwarf Rabbit Breeds
These are the tiniest rabbits you can get! Potential weights range from 1.1 to 4.25 pounds, but most dwarf rabbits are between 2 and 4 pounds.
Dwarf rabbits are known for their small size and adorable chunky faces! They are athletic and charismatic and are commonly kept as pets.
Dwarf rabbit breeds tend to suffer from dental issues such as malocclusion more commonly than other rabbits due to their compact skulls, and litters tend to be smaller. One thing to be aware of when raising dwarfs is the dwarf gene. When kits receive this gene from both parents it is fatal, and results in what is called a “peanut.”
